Board and Planning Meetings:
The IEMC Board meets at least five times during the year to plan events and discuss organization decisions. Anyone who is a member is welcome to attend these meetings and join in the discussion. Elections:
Officers are elected for two-year terms. Officers are elected by the members in attendance at the Fall For Math Conference meeting in September. The president and secretary are elected in even-numbered years; the vice-president and treasurer are elected in odd-numbered years. If you are interested in serving as an officer, you must be a member of IEMC and CMC and agree with the mission statement of the California Mathematics Council of which IEMC is a local affiliate.
